The Directors

Alistair Mackintosh - CEO

Earlier this month Fulham Football Club announced the appointment of Alistair Mackintosh as Chief Executive Officer.

A chartered accountant by profession, Alistair was CEO of Manchester City until last month and oversaw, in recent years, a dramatic improvement in that Club’s fortunes, fan base and global reach, to the point that it is now amongst the 20 wealthiest clubs in the world.

At the age of 38, Alistair brings energy, enthusiasm and determination, along with experience and financial acumen, which fits perfectly with the commitment of Mr. Al Fayed and the Board to achieving both financial strength and independence, as well as a permanence in the upper levels of the Premier League.

Commenting on his move to Fulham, Alistair confirmed that he was delighted to be making the move to London and joining Fulham. “It is a universally popular club with a great footballing history and tradition, which has succeeded in combining the highest levels of sporting and family values with the intense demands of the modern game. It has a chairman whose drive, enthusiasm and vision have taken the Club back to its rightful place in English football, and Roy Hodgson, a manager and coach who I believe is second to none.”

Club Chairman, Mohamed Al Fayed, said in announcing the appointment and welcoming Alistair to the Club, “He has outstanding experience and ability which will help us take the Club even further towards achieving the vision I had when I bought it over 10 years ago. His personal qualities will, I know, bring him both respect and high regard amongst our supporters, sponsors, suppliers, players and club management, and indeed all those who contribute to the wellbeing and success of the Club.”

Mark Collins - Director

A Fulham fan for nearly 37 years, Mark has enjoyed the highs and lows of Fulham’s unfolding story. He attended his first match at Craven Cottage during the 1972 season. Mark was part of the team that facilitated the Chairman’s acquisition of the Club in 1997.

Mark also plays an active role in providing support to all of the Directors involved in the day to day running of Fulham Football Club.

As Managing director of Harrods Estates since its re-launch in March 1996, Mark and his team have developed a successful estate agency business, with particular focus on new/residential developments.

Harrods Estates has offices situated on the Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, and Park Lane, Mayfair.

On behalf of the Chairman, the Club, and the Premier League Mark was appointed to the new FA Council last summer (2007).

He is a member of the Referees Committee, on which he will commence his second year- on the panel, and in addition, this year he will sit on the FA Challenge Cup Committee.
