Double Club
Double Clubs run in local schools during curriculum time and out of school hours. The Fulham FC Double Club model is based on the prestigious Arsenal FC Double Club and the popularity of playing football is the inspiration behind the Arsenal Double Club.
The aim is to raise literacy and numeracy ability levels, confidence and self-esteem of young people in key stages 2 and 3, by using resources about Fulham and football. These sessions are combined with a parallel programme of football coaching. Last year Double Club engaged over 60 young people in four schools over three terms and saw a raise in literacy scores by 92% of the pupils engaged.

After the session the young people participate in an hour of physical activity.

The programme delivery is flexible however we suggest 2 hrs of classroom and 1 hr of Sports coaching a week.
Transitional Programmes
The Fulham Football Club Foundation in partnership with local secondary schools can host your Transitional programmes. The transition programme is aimed at preparing a young persons move from primary school to secondary school.

Enterprise
Fulham FC Foundation’s Enterprise project uses Fulham FC to inspire and motivate young people about the challenging world of business. The FFC Enterprise project uses the power of football and the model of a Premier League Football Club to deliver a classroom based programme which aims to develop young peoples understanding of business and enterprise.
As a result of their participation in the programme young people will gain the benefit from understanding a business model leading to improved enterprise skills, educational attainment and raised aspirations.
The 10-module Enterprise programme focuses on educating pupils in the operational and business side of a Football Club, demonstrating to them that professions within the football industry range far wider than the 11 players a club has on the pitch.
The programme provides young people with an engaging and creative insight into the workings of a business, in this case a Premier League Football Club. We also offer an accreditation with this activity which is optional. Fulham Football Club Foundation can attend your school and set your students an exciting entrepreneurial challenge.
The students will be divided into teams which are structured similar to a Football club’s departmental structure. They will be given real-life problems encountered by a department in the club, and compete against other teams by thinking of innovative solutions to the problem. The time of the activity can be tailored to the school timetable and the schools availability.
Finally, the interactive Enterprise Stadium Tour can bring to life the business side of a football club by giving a tour of Craven Cottage. Looking at business elements throughout the tour, the students gain valuable information about how a premiership stadium operates. The Tour is based on a 1 hour tour and 1 hour classroom activity.
