‘I’m delighted that Kasey has joined us and I’m sure that he’ll be a great addition to the squad. Obviously with Antti being injured at the Emirates it was important that we added some strength and depth in that area and Kasey is a proven professional with impeccable international credentials. It’s vital that we have cover in all areas throughout the squad, and I think he will be a valuable asset to us over the course of the season.’

Kasey Keller added:

‘It’s fantastic to be back in the Premiership after a couple of year’s absence, and when the opportunity to join Fulham came up it was an exciting proposition that didn’t take too much consideration. I know that Fulham already has two quality goalkeepers, but I would like to think that I can add something to the squad in terms of its options, and I am really enthusiastic about this new challenge.’
