Looking back on Wednesday evening Carling Cup match at Craven Cottage, Leicester Manager Nigel Pearson gave his assessment.
"Of course we come away from Craven Cottage incredibly disappointed - but there were plenty of pluses to take out of that game tonight" he said.
"It took us a little while to get into it, but I was delighted with our performance in the second half. We went about it the right way and caused them a heck of a lot of problems.
"In all honesty I think that we probably deserved to nick it on the night - but we didn't and we have now got to draw a line under it and move on.
"It wasn't a fitness thing - unfortunately we just couldn't see it through. You have also got to give Fulham a lot of credit for the way they have kept going right until the end.
"I am very disappointed that we are not in the next round - but we have got to live with it and move on."
