There was some positive news from the Training Ground on Wednesday as three First Team squad members completed 90 minutes for the Reserves.
The match against Dagenham & Redbridge was played behind closed doors at Motspur Park and Kasey Keller, Ian Pearce and Philippe Christanval all completed the full match.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw and after the game Reserve Team Manager, Billy McKinlay, had some good news regarding the form and fitness of centre back pairing Christanval and Pearce.
“They’ve been training well over the past two or three weeks and today was just the next step in their rehab programme," McKinlay revealed. “They need games – certainly Ian Pearce and Philippe Christanval needed a game but they were cruising at centre back. They looked fit and strong, so it all bodes well for the Manager and giving him some more options.”
