HughesFollowing a report on Sky Sports News on Wednesday regarding the future of Fulham defender Aaron Hughes, the defender has responded by confirming his commitment to the Club.

Hughes is currently on international duty with Northern Ireland but was adamant that Fulham fans should rest assured that his future lies with the Club following today's inaccurate media report.

"I signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Fulham last summer and my commitment to the Club remains as strong as ever, my family is settled and I am happy here.

"Whilst I am disappointed by our current league position, I am enjoying being at Fulham and hope to be playing Premier League football at Craven Cottage next season.

"We are fighting together as a team to secure the Club's future and whilst my team mates are well aware of my commitment to the Club, I felt it necessary to reassure the fans following today's inaccurate speculation surrounding my future.

"It's vital that the players, staff and supporters stick together at this stage of the season. We have a massive game against Derby on Saturday and I can guarantee that I will be giving 100% to the Club's cause, as I always do."
