Fulham's Reserve Team suffered a 3-1 defeat on Monday evening at the hands of an experienced Portsmouth outfit.
Fulham's young side were always facing an uphill task against a Pompey line-up which featured the likes of David Nugent, Djimi Traore, Lauren and Kanu.
The visitors took a first half lead when Noe Pamarot broke the deadlock in the 38th minute. Pompey doubled their lead 10 minutes into the second half through Gael Ndlundulu.
Fulham pulled one goal back two minutes later when Jordan Wilson put the ball past Jamie Ashdown. Unfortunately for Fulham, Kanu put the tie beyond doubt two minutes from time.
