Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale has signed an extension to his contract which will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2013.
Stockdale joined the Whites from Darlington in 2008 and made his Premier League debut this season in Fulham’s victory over Everton at Craven Cottage.
Speaking from the Club's Motspur Park training ground today, Stockdale was clearly delighted to have put pen to paper.
“It means the world to me really,” he said. “It was great to be here in the first place and I'm settled here and have had the opportunity to show what I can do. Thankfully the Club has rewarded me.
“The keepers here are great to learn from and there's a wonderful rapport, if I can do half of what Schwarzer and Zuberbuhler have done in their careers, it would be a great career to look back on. I'm working with the best here at Fulham and it was nice to get an opportunity in the Premier League against Everton earlier this season.”
