Fulham has announced the loan signing of midfielder Olivier Dacourt from Inter Milan until until 30 June 2009.
34 year old Dacourt transferred from Strasbourg to Everton F.C. in 1998 and his debut game in the Premier League was against Aston Villa.
Dacourt has also played for RC Lens, Leeds United and AS Roma. After being on the losing side in the Coppa Italia final against Internazionale in 2005/06, Dacourt joined the club from AS Roma on a two year contract in accordance with the Bosman ruling. It was here he earned the nickname "The General" by Inter fans for his displays on the pitch in Italy's Serie A.
Dacourt has 21 international caps for "Les Bleus".
