Fulham Deaf Ladies defender Roanna Simmons has become the first deaf female to achieve a Level 3 UEFA B Coaching Licence.
The defender said; "It makes it more special that I am the first Deaf Female to achieve this qualification, in the whole of the UK.
"I want to spread the good news to all and hopefully to inspire deaf or disabled female coaches to take my lead and become any form of sport coach.
"I am currently a Coach for Fulham Deaf Ladies FC and we have won the league and two cup finals at the end of the year - which is a massive achievement for the first 11-a-side Deaf Ladies team to play in the mainstream.
"At the end of year club presentation, I got the Coach of the Year award. And then to top it off, I passed my Level 3 UEFA B Licence."
