Watched by a capacity Craven Cottage crowd and broadcast live across 120 countries around the world, the Fulham v Manchester United fixture featured the launch of Fulham’s new ‘Official Main Team Sponsor’.
In the build up to kick-off, once fans had taken to their seats and received a luxury wallet courtesy of FxPro, a giant inflatable hovered over the Cottage Tunnel as the players took to the pitch and revealed the new FxPro home shirt.
As part of the sponsorship, FxPro have engaged the services of ‘The FxPro Girls’ to help promote the brand and interact with the crowd throughout the season.
The debut of the FxPro girls saw them interacting with the fans on Stevenage Road and around the stadium pre-match – if you had your picture taken with the girls, you can now download it online by visiting: www.fulhamfc.com/fanphotos|
At half-time four Fulham fans had the opportunity to grace the pristine turf at the Cottage and race in the FxPro Giant Ball Race to try and win signed memorabilia from the First Team.
Fulham Foundation
As well as investing in the Club itself, FxPro have also committed to supporting the Fulham Football Club Foundation for the next three years.
As part of the new partnership, FxPro will be an Official Team Partner of Fulham FC’s Deaf team and the Foundation’s Official Education Development Partner.
The support will benefit a range of education programmes including Double Club, Skills and Learning Centre, Apprenticeships and most notably the Enterprise project which the award-winning global Forex brokerage company is keen to get involved in.
The Foundation will also play a key role in helping FxPro develop a variety of community programmes abroad sharing best practice with key local community leaders with the aim of training and supporting their positive impact.
To mark the new partnership Jim Manczak, FxPro Head of Strategic Relations, was delighted to make a special presentation to the Foundation on the pitch.
