John Pantsil may not have got his hands on the World Cup this summer but he is helping to achieve something even more special – education for every child in the world.
The Fulham defender is an ambassador for 1GOAL, the campaign that is calling on world leaders to provide education for the 72 million out-of-school children worldwide by 2015.
John, along with the Club, pledged his support for 1GOAL earlier this year and since then over 12 million people around the world have signed up to the campaign.
Together with football legends like Pele, Sir Bobby Charlton and Zinedine Zidane, they are all part of the 1GOAL Squad; the team of fans and footballers from clubs across the globe, united to show their support for education.
