Mousa Dembele admitted that last weekend's snow storm at the Etihad made Fulham's task against Manchester City even harder and matters did not improve on the Team's return to London, as the Belgium international revealed to fulhamfc.com on Tuesday afternoon.
“It was not easy in the snow on Saturday,” said Dembele. “When you’re playing against a team as good as Manchester City it’s not ideal to play in these conditions and it was very hard.
"The plane was cancelled on the way back so we drove for about six hours and got back about three o’clock in the morning. The day after was a rest day so I slept - a lot!”
Fulham return to action on Saturday against Stoke City at the Cottage| before a trip to Loftus Road next weekend and Fulham's Belgium international striker is feeling confident that his Team can claim maximum points from the Club's forthcoming fixtures.
"We now have games against Stoke and QPR that we can win," said Dembele. "Whilst they’ll be difficult matches we can win these games – I’m certainly looking up the table rather than down.
"At home it’s different for us and I think we’re much more comfortable and our confidence is much higher. Stoke play differently away from home so it will be a different game from playing them at the Britannia. I have a lot of confidence going into Saturday's game."
