Marketing

Fans SeatedA strong bond has been established between the Club and the fans. The fundamental reason is not only the team but also the Club’s approach on Marketing and Public Relations.

The successful promotion to the Premiership has increased Fulham’s media profile. There has been a significant growth in the range of Club publications, including the matchday programme and quarterly issues of Club magazine, Fultime. The junior edition Half Time is published twice a season.

The Marketing Department is responsible for the growth and development of the Membership and Season Ticket Holder base.

All matchday ticket prices can also be found on the web site.

The internet is proving to be a valuable asset to the Club. Fans living abroad can log in and listen to live match commentaries, check all the latest news, orders Fulham merchandise and purchase tickets at the click of a button. As a result our fan base has grown internationally. Fulham shirts are being worn in countries across the world.

Matchdays at Craven Cottage are tailored to meet all sorts of supporter needs, some may just purchase a match ticket, others may wish to purchase a matchday programme, a Fulham Flutter (raffle) ticket, a cup of tea or a pie at half time. You may choose to watch the game from a corporate box, or be a match sponsor. Everyone sees the same 90 minutes of football, however different packages are available to meet the needs of different groups of supporters.

Whilst in the Stadium you may visit the Club Shop and purchase a replica shirt. There is a wide range of Fulham merchandise to purchase, either online at fulhamfc.com or by calling our Mail Order line on 0870 442 1223 or through our catalogue. This allows our fans to decide what to buy in their own time.

Increases can be seen elsewhere in the business in terms of season ticket sales which are up by 38%, corporate hospitality sales see an enormous 59% rise and catering and programme sales both showing healthy 43% increases.

The average gate at the Club so far this season is 21,092. To promote the sale of the Club, including Season Tickets, Memberships, new kit launches, corporate hospitality and catering events, we advertise predominately through the local and regional press and radio, as well as the Club media, matchday programme, issues of Fultime and the website.

The Corporate services are advertised in the same way, but also through personal selling, a method of promotion that allows us to maintain the close relationship we have with our corporate customers and supporters.
