FFC KIDZ puts the questions to FFC's very own Jimmy Bullard!
How did you get into playing football?
I started off with my local club team called YMCA. My Dad managed them so that guaranteed I got a game every week! I played a lot of football for my school team as well. From school I was lucky enough to be scouted by Millwall and went to play as a youth player but never got signed on to YTS.
I think they were put off by my size. Since then I always say to young lads who are smaller not to worry, because people might be bigger than them when they're younger but these things will even themselves out as they get older.
Who had the biggest influence on your career?
My Dad. He always kept me working hard and encouraged me that I was doing things well. Even during the times when things weren't going right for me he showed a lot of confidence in me as a player and I think as a young lad that can help.
Who was your favourite player when you were growing up?
I had videos on George Best and I loved watching those, he was an amazing player. He was so skilful and brave and didn't mind taking on any player. Then later on as I got older Paul Gascoigne was my next idol, he was so gifted.
What has been your biggest moment in your football career so far?
The biggest moment at the beginning of my career was when I signed professional for West Ham, that was a massive moment as I had always wanted to be a footballer and to become a professional with my boyhood team was great. Getting to the League Cup Final with Wigan and getting promoted with them to the Premier League. More recently, signing for Fulham was a very special moment for me as well.
Who is the hardest player to play against in the Premier League?
Paul Scholes. He is just everywhere during games, drops deep and then all of a sudden he pops up in your box with a header. He's not outstanding at any one thing just really good at everything.
Who is the joker of the team?
Ha, ha, Philippe Christanval without a doubt, it's joke after joke with him.
What do you do in your spare time?
I love my golf and my fishing but I have a family now so we do a lot together as well. We like to get out and walk the dog and where I live there are plenty of places to get out and about.
Best player in the world?
Juan Roman Riquelme - he has the ability to unlock any defence in the world and that makes him the player to beat in world football.
