Another one of Billy McKinlay’s promising young Development Squad players, Etheridge has made excellent progress since being a regular for the Under 18s last season.
Etheridge is a former England Under 16 ‘keeper who now represents the Philippines, having won his first senior cap against Brunei in the AFC Challenge Cup, where he kept three clean sheets in his first three games.
Despite originally starting his goalkeeping education at SW6 rivals Chelsea, Neil has become an integral part of the Whites’ future impressing coaching staff with his outstanding kicking and shot-stopping abilities.
In May 2010 Neil signed an extension to his contract, keeping him at Fulham until the summer of 2011.
