Paul Konchesky

Konchesky signed a four year deal with the Whites during the summer of 2007 and was one of Fulham's most consistent performers during his inaugural season at Craven Cottage.

As a youngster the left back developed at West Ham's Academy before switching to Charlton where he made his first team debut before his 17th birthday. Konchesky spent several years with the Addicks, which included at brief loan spell at White Hart Lane, before his move back to West Ham in 2005.

Konchesky enjoyed a successful first season with Hammers, helping them reach ninth place in the league and scored in the 2006 FA Cup Final against Liverpool at the Millenium Stadium. After an unhappy second season at Upton Park the defender moved to Fulham and his performancessince his transfer across the Capital have impressed fans and pundits alike.

On the international stage Konchesky made 15 appearances for England-U21s before making his senior debut against Australia in 2003. The Barking-born defender has continued in the same vein of rich form during his second season at the Cottage, combining his defensive duties with a fine attacking instinct on the left flank. After more than 50 appearances for Fulham 'Konch' scored his first goal for the Club with a stunning 35 yard drive against his former Club West Ham in Fulham's opening league fixture of 2009.
