The South Korean international joined from Reading on transfer deadline day in August 2007. Having enjoyed a successful spell with Wolverhampton Wanderers the winger spent a season with the Royals before signing a three year deal with Fulham.
During the 2002 World Cup Finals held in Korea, Seol became a national hero by playing in all six games for his country as they reached the semi-finals of the competition. He also appeared in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, appearing as a substitute during the group stages.
Seol is renowned as a strong and tenacious player and following a successful pre-season will be looking to establish himself in Fulham’s forward line this season after making 12 appearances for the Whites last season.
After impressing during pre-season Seol was selected for Fulham's opening game of the 08/09 season against Hull. The striker recorded the Whites first goal of the season with a glancing headed goal at the KC Stadium before performing admirably during Fulham's win over Arsenal at Craven Cottage.
During the January 09 transfer window Seol joined Saudi Arabian side, Al-Hilal Al-Saudi Club, on a six-month loan deal until. The striker returned for pre-season training with Fulham in July 2009 ahead of the new campaign.
