Mike Kelly - Assistant Manager/Goalkeeper Coach

An extremely experienced coach, Mike Kelly is currently in his second spell at Fulham, the first coming in 1978-80 when he was Fulham’s Assistant Manager. Following his time at Craven Cottage, Kelly went on to similar roles at Crystal Palace and West Brom.

Kelly held the position of England goalkeeping coach from 1984 to 1990, seeing England through three major tournaments; the 1986 Mexico World Cup, the 1998 European Championships in West Germany and the 1990 World Cup in Italy. He also worked with the Switzerland national team for the four years up to and including their appearance in the 1994 World Cup in America.

Mike returned to club level where he worked with Liverpool, Leeds, Southampton, West Ham, Sheffield United, Grasshoppers Zurich, FC Zurich, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Charlton. Additional international experience came with spells working for the Chinese and United Arab Emirates national teams.
