Following the dismissal of Felix Magath in September 2014, Kit Symons was promoted from Under-21s boss to Caretaker Manager of the First Team.
A run of five wins from his first nine matches moved the Whites off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone, and Symons was subsequently given the role full-time.
In what was a tricky first campaign back in the second tier for Fulham, Symons helped steer the Club clear of any lingering relegation concerns as we finished in 17th spot.
Form proved inconsistent at the start of the 2015/16 campaign, although there were several bright spots, particularly a 4-0 win at home to local rivals Queens Park Rangers.
But with a Play-Off spot the aim, Symons was relieved of his duties following a 5-2 home defeat by Birmingham City early on in November, with the Club sitting 12th in the standings.
