Paul Bracewell had hoped to continue where his former mentor Kevin Keegan left off when he was handed the role of Fulham Manager in 1999.
However, after a bright start to his managerial career (15 games unbeaten) a succession of draws led to a slide down the First Division table.
Bracewell parted company with the Club after a loss at Ipswich Town in March 2000 virtually ended the Team's Play-Off ambitions.
Fulham striker Karl Heinz Riedle and former Liverpool manager Roy Evans then took charge until the end of the season.
