Bobby Robson’s tenure as Fulham Manager came to an end after just 10 months in charge with the Club stranded at the bottom of the Division Two table. He would however, go on to enjoy a very successful managerial career at Ipswich Town, England, PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Barcelona and Newcastle United. Johnny Haynes was named as a player-manager.
