Fulham Defender Roger Brown Bags A Brace

27 March 1982 Roger Brown, Fulham's commanding centre-back scored two goals in what would be the first of two braces for him in the 1981/82 season. Brown would end up scoring 12 goals in 46 league games overall that year, which is the best return for a defender in the Whites' history. What makes the feat all the more remarkable is that none of his goals were scored direct from a penalty or free-kick.

Celebration Time In SW6

18 May 1982 As you'd expect, everyone connected with Craven Cottage was in a jubilant mood after our last gasp promotion in 1982. Above is the now iconic shot of Player of the Season Roger Brown joining the festivities after the final game of the season; Brown's 12 league goals played a huge part in Fulham's promotion push.

New Badge: 1982

10 August 1982 The Club badge introduced in 1977 only lasts five seasons as the eighth badge in the Club's history is introduced to be worn on Fulham's kit. However, this badge would also be short-lived and would only be worn for two seasons before Fulham reverted back to the 1977 creation.
