History of Fulham Football Club

Stable Season For Fulham

May 1993 In a safe, if uninspiring, 1992/93 season for the Whites, Fulham finished 12th. This was a welcome break from regular insecurity with regards to things both on and on the pitch. One highlight of the campaign was coming from 3-0 down at home to Hull City (pictured) to finish the game 3-3.

Fulham Plays Liverpool In League Cup

2 October 1993 Fulham again played Liverpool in the League Cup, this time in the Second Round. The first leg was a 3-1 loss at Craven Cottage, where Sean Farrell scored the Whites' only goal. However it is the second leg at Anfield which people remember, although Fulham fans may not look back on it too fondly. The Whites lost 5-0, with a young, then barely known Robbie Fowler scoring all of Liverpool's goals.
