Tigana Sacked And Chris Coleman Takes Temporary Charge

19 April 2003 With five games to go, Chris Coleman took the reigns as Caretaker Manager and led Fulham to 10 points from a possible 15 to secure the Club's third season of top-flight football.

Coleman Becomes Permanent Manager

August 2003 After leading Fulham to safety in the previous season, Chris Coleman was rewarded by being appointed Manager on a full-time basis with Steve Kean named his assistant. Aged just 33, he was the youngest Manager in the Club's history.
