Fulham have announced that Marianne Pettersen will be the Ladies new team Captain with Katie Chapman taking over the role as Vice-Captain.
Marianne is the squads most experienced player and her appointment as Captain reflects this. She has won both Olympic Gold and World Cup medals.
Katie Chapmans appointment as Vice Captain comes despite her young age (19).
Gaute Haugenes the Ladies Team Manager said:
"Katie is a very mature person and her experience gained as a regular member of the England team will be a great benefit to the Club.
"She is definitely a player of the future and a potential captain of Fulham Ladies in a couple of years.
"Both of the above possess excellent leadership skills and I am confident that both appointments will pay dividends this season"
