Spurs may face FA

Tottenham could in trouble with the FA after their supporters appeared to throw objects at Fulham's Luis Boa Morte when the sides met last week.

Referee Mark Halsey has reported the incident to the FA after former Arsenal striker Boa Morte handed him a cigarette lighter during the Worthington Cup clash. Plastic rain macs were also thrown at Boa Morte.

Halsey said after the game that he would be reporting it to Soho Square and the FA have now confirmed that they have received that match report.

"We have got the referee's report and we are considering its contents," said an FA spokesman on Wednesday.
