Sylvain Legwinski says he will see a specialist this week for a verdict on a pelvic problem he has suffered ever since he arrived at the club.
Legwinski passed a late fitness test to play against Leeds on Sunday and produced another top-class performance against the Premiership high-flyers. But the niggling injury has never really gone away and the midfielder knows he needs to have it looked at to determine how quickly it will clear up.
He said: "It's a little problem with my pelvis, an inflammation. I'm going to see a specialist because it's been bothering me a long time, so I want to know if it's serious or not. Normally it's all right and I'm able to play."
The 28-year-old Frenchman has already made 13 appearances for The Cottagers since his summer switch from Bordeaux and has been an astute signing for Jean Tigana's side.
