Fulham's American goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann has joined Alan Pardew's Reading in a one month loan deal.
Hahnemann has already had a successful loan spell at Rochdale this season, becoming a firm fans' favourite at Spotland. However his move to Reading could enable Marcus to gain some further first team match practice.
Following an injury to Reading's first choice 'keeper Phil Whitehead, manager Alan Pardew has been looking for further cover between the sticks.
Fulham's goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton spoke to Fulham Today about the move.
"It's a very good move for Marcus. Reading are a very ambitious club, with a new stadium and an ambitious Chairman. Marcus has been to Rochdale and did exceptionally well there, this is now a league higher for him.
"I'm looking for him to get a good standard of training and match preparation at Reading."
