Liverpool's stand-in Boss Phil Thompson looked back on his side's 0-0 draw with Fulham and admitted: "We have to regard it as two points dropped."
Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table to four points but Thompson wasn't happy after his side failed to take all three points adding:
"It was a home game and so of course we're disappointed not to have won the game. We have to say it is a case of two points dropped.
"I thought we had the better chances throughout the match but at the same time we weren't as composed as we can be in possession and we were a bit erratic at times.
"Fulham are a good side and they didn't surprise us in the way they played the game. Having said that, Jerzy wasn't too troubled all evening, apart from a couple of long range shots.
"Michael (Owen) had some good chances for us and how the goalkeeper got to Steven Gerrard's effort in the first half I just don't know. It was a fantastic save. Overall I felt we were the better team but on the night the chances just wouldn't go in for us."
