Collins wants appeal

John Collins is urging the club to lodge an appeal against Luis Boa Morte's controversial yellow card against Charlton.

The Portuguese frontman was booked by referee Steve Bennett for diving at Craven Cottage but assistant boss Christian Damiano and now Collins have slammed the decision and said that video evidence shows categorically that he tripped.

Former Scotland international midfielder Collins said: "It wasn't a dive. I've seen it on the television and I'm disappointed for him. It will be another appeal case, I'm sure.

"He's got no reason to dive because he was going for a shot on goal. The referee obviously saw it differently, but hopefully we can get it withdrawn."
