This weekend The Black and White Army by the Thames meet the Black and White Army by the Tyne in what promises to be a cracker of a game.

Over the years these two teams have shared some fantastic encounters, as well as some great characters. Two names that spring to mind immediately are Kevin Keegan and Malcolm "Supermac" McDonald.

In the Autumn of 1982 the two teams met at St James Park, Fulham under "Supermac" as manager, and Newcastle being lead on the pitch by the influential Keegan. It was a fantastic performance by Fulham, with them eventually winning 4-1. If you fancy a similar result this Saturday, 33/1 at Fulham Bet could offer some good value.

A £10 bet on history repeating itself would win you £330

That day the Toon's star forward Keegan also missed a penalty. Their current day hero, a certain Mr Shearer, rarely misses a chance from the spot. However if you think Saturday could be the day his luck runs out, why not have a punt on Fulham Bet's "Shear Agony" special at the attractive price of 14-1?

If you fancy profiting at Shearer's misfortune,a £10 bet would win you £140.

The current Fulham squad also has a few players that the Toon faithful will be more than familiar with, none more so than midfield dynamo Lee Clark. At 9-1 to score Fulham's first goal Clarkey could be a money maker for you, a £10 stake with Fulham Bet could win you £90. Alain Goma at 20/1 and of course Louis Saha at 5-1 will also be hoping to find the net againstt heir former employers.

One player not likely to get such a warm welcome from the Geordies is Andy Melville, who plied his trade down the road at arch rivals Sunderland for a few years. He will no doubt be itching to put one over on Newcastle. If you fancy Melv to score, why not have a go on the "Big Mac-kem" Special at 14-1.

He is certainly due a goal, and will be dangerous from any set pieces, and a £10 bet with Fulham Bet would win you£ 140

Newcastle are of course currently under Bobby Robson, who has certainly come a long way since his first managerial position at Craven Cottage back in the Sixties. One of his major signings is exciting French winger, Laurent Robert. "The Frog on the Tyne" Special - Robert to score and Fulham to win - is available at 10-1, well worth a punt with Fulham Bet.

Whatever happens you can be sure of an entertaining game down by the Thames on Saturday. Both teams attack with pace and power, both play good football, and both have a top manager at the helm. Lets hope Fulham can continue their recent good form, and send the Geordies back up the M1 with nothing.......

To top the weekend off, defeats for Chelsea at 11/8, and QPR at 5/2 would make it a perfect and profitable weekend......

A £10 treble on Chelsea losing at Everton QPR losing at Swansea and Fulham BEATING Newcastle would win you £181
