Robbie Fowler is set to make his Leeds United debut at Craven Cottage this coming Sunday after Liverpool confirmed that they have agreed a fee with the Elland Road outfit for the England striker.
The deal hangs in the balance on Tuesday evening after it was revealed that the move would only be completed AFTER Fowler completes a successful medical in Yorkshire.
Leeds chairman Peter Risdale told the BBC on Tuesday night that, with Fowler's medical history, that was no certainty.
The fee is believed to be around £11m after Leeds refused to pay the £15m the Anfield club were asking.
Leeds have long been linked with Fowler, with manager David O'Leary insisting he needs to strengthen his squad - the bad news for Fulham is that the deal does look likely to go ahead in time for the profilic striker to make his debut against the Whites at the weekend.
