Tuesday 6 August 2002

We have been notified by the F.A. Premier League and the British Transport Police that engineering works will be taking place on weekends between 5th August and 8th December 2002.

The line affected is the West Coast Main Line out of Euston and it will be closed between Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes, and Wolverhampton and Stafford. Therefore it will affect all services out of Euston on that route, and they have stressed that fans should not rely on the very restricted train service to get them there in time for matches on those weekends.

The league away games likely to be affected are:

31st August West Bromwich Albion
28th September Everton
9th November Aston Villa
16th November Birmingham City
30th November Blackburn Rovers

If you are concerned about getting to the game, it will be possible to purchase seats on the away coaches from the Ticket Office in the Club Shop on Fulham Road. We recommend that you take advantage of this service by booking your place on the coach. Travel is subsidised for Season Ticket Holders and Club FFC Members but non-members will still be eligible for travel on the coaches, provided they pay the full travel price.

Coaches depart from Craven Cottage and Motspur Park (limited availability)

You can purchase seats on the coaches via:

In person at the Ticket Office in the Club Shop on Fulham Rd
By phone to the Ticket Office on 0870 442 1234

Please Note:

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE TICKET OFFICE AT LOFTUS ROAD, UNLESS IT IS ON A MATCH DAY (open only from10 am on weekend fixtures and from 3pm for midweek fixtures)
