Ladies reserves win Cup

Fulham Ladies Reserves won the Arsenal International Tournament at the weekend. The tournament, played at Royal Holloway College in Egham, saw the girls beat Southern Premier Division side Chelsea in the final 3-0 having lost to them in the group stages 5-0.

Fulham had qualified as runners up of their group behind Chelsea. In the semi-finals they beat Denham United of the South East Combination League 3-0.

Other group games saw Fulham thrash Brentford 7-0, put 6 past Slough and beat Docklands 2-1.

Karen Mers and Nicola Carter were the outstanding players over the week long tournament.
