Euro Final

Monday 26 August 2002

Fulham are expecting a near full house and a cracking atmosphere for their Intertoto Cup Final 2nd leg at Loftus Road on Tuesday evening.

Nearly 11,000 tickets have been sold in advance for a 'pay on the day' match and with a vast number of supporters expected to turn up on the night the message is 'get there early'...

Bologna are expected to bring a large and noisy following, many of whom will be drawn from the massive London based Italian community.

Fulham fans have been given the challenge of rising to the occassion and making sure their team receive the support they require to secure the Club's first ever piece of European silverware.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fulham Today on Sunday CEO Bruce Langham said:

""It promises to be a fantastic occasion, and in many ways could prove to be one of the most important nights in Fulham's history. It's one that every Fulham fan should be there to share.

"I think that the atmosphere at Loftus Road will be fantastic - It will be full of Fulham fans making a huge amount of noise. The Italians certainly gave us a hot reception when we went to Bologna, so I'm hoping to repay them with interest on Tuesday."
