Fulham Bet

Friday 8 February 2002

The last time Blackburn and Fulham met in a League encounter, the Cottagers ran out worthy 2-1 winners with only 10 men on the pitch. Saturday's game sees a renewal of this rivalry, although this time Premiership points are on offer.

Blackburn are in an unenviable position. Eight defeats in the last ten games is their current record, with just one place separating them from the bottom three, and while the Cottagers are not entirely without relegation worries, they are also within reach of a possible European spot.

Points are therefore of paramount importance, and with little love lost between the two sides, the crowd at Craven Cottage can expect a spirited contest. Goals will (hopefully) also be a factor. This fixture, after all, has not seen a 0-0 draw since the 1982/1983 season. A Fulham 3-0 win is priced at 12/1.

A £10 Bet with Fulham Bet would win you £120.

Barry Hayles came close to breaking the deadlock in last week's goalless draw with Aston Villa, only to see his lob land on the roof of the net. The striker is 5/1 to be first on the score sheet for Fulham this weekend.

A £10 Bet with Fulham Bet would win you £50.

And now for the weekly treble...

Fulham to win 4/5

Chelsea to lose 6/4

QPR to lose 6/4

A £10 Bet on the perfect set of results would win you £102.50!
