No go Rebrov

Fulham's Assistant Manager has ruled out a move for Spurs' Ukrainian hitman Sergei Rebrov. Speaking after Fulham's 2-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers, Damiano flatly denied any suggestions that Rebrov was a Whites target.

"I think it's only the agent who wants to move the player (Rebrov)" said Damiano after record-signing Steve Marlet put in a match-winning performance.

It would not be the first time that Fulham have been linked with a player purely as a result of media speculation. However, Damiano was emphatic in his denial of any interest in the player.
