Boing Boing Baggies

Monday 18 February 2002

Fulham's record against West Brom, in recent seasons at least, has been good.

Last term we notched up a relatively easy 3-1 victory at the Hawthorns. Two goals from Sean Davis and one from debutant Andrejs Stolcers sealing victory.

At home Fulham and West Brom drew 0-0 making it 4 points from 6, the same tally as the season before.

West Brom fans are very vocal, but it has to be said that whilst they create a fantastic atmosphere, it's nowhere near as volatile as that at Wolves or Birmingham City. Basically, the Baggies are nice people who tend to support their team rather than worrying about upsetting the opposing fans!

This season the Albion are looking good and in particular, striker Jason Roberts, who is being tipped to move into the Premiership with or without his teammates. Roberts is the cousin of Fulham's former Football Development Coach Ottis.

The Robert's connection is not the only family tie between Fulham and West Brom. The White's Academy Education Welfare & Technical Advisor Paul Clement is brother to star Albion defender Neil.

Currently lying third in Nationwide Division One, The Baggies are a tough proposition, particularly at home. This season's record: P33 W18 D6 L9
