Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly has targeted the local derby with Fulham on March 6th for his return from injury.
Desailly suffered a thigh injury during the FA Cup 5th Round clash with Preston ten days ago, but feels that he could be back within a week.
He told his personal website, "After a few days' rest at the start of last week, I have returned to London to get some treatment on my thigh. It now feels much better. I will probably need another few days to get back on track and then, if everything goes well, I will be available for our game against Fulham next Wednesday."
"But at Charlton, I think I am going to be a bit too short even if I know that because of John Terry's injury and the fact that we don't know too much about William Gallas' injury, it might be an emergency for the club to make me play. But I would like not to take too many risks and I would rather wait to be fully recovered before I play again. We will see. A lot of things could happen yet."
