Five Fulham Ladies team members have joined up with their England team mates after the national side accepted an invitation to play in the Algarve Cup.
Katie Chapman, Rachel Yankey, Rachel Unitt, Mary Phillip and Rachel McArthur have all made the trip to Portugal for the friendly tournament, which will run between 1st-7th March.
Astrid Johannessen and Lene Terp have also both been called up for international action for Norway and Denmark respectively, taking Fulham's current international contingent to seven
Ladies team manager Gaute Haugenes greeted the news with mixed emotions.
"We are proud to have so many who represent their country, but, of course, it is difficult to keep up the standards of our training session without them.
"It is positive to know they are in training and playing quality games, but it is also important the quality does not drop for the remaining eight or nine squad members."
