Fulham V Tottenham Hotspur 24 March 2002 KO 4.00 p.m.
Fulham Football Club is pleased to announce that the recent policy regarding the sale of tickets for the Tottenham Hotspur game has been reviewed by the governing bodies responsible, and a compromise has been reached to accommodate more of its supporters at this fixture.
The Club is actively campaigning against the ticket tout situation which causes problems at many football grounds. The following stipulations regarding ticket purchase at this fixture aim to eradicate the opportunity for tickets to get into the hands of touts:
2,500 tickets for the Putney Terrace and limited Riverside seating will go on sale to Club FFC members only on a first come first served basis. One ticket is allowed per member to personal callers to the FFC Ticket Office and on production of a valid Club FFC membership card. Part payment will be taken from ticket office and a special voucher will be issued leaving a further £5.00 cash payment to be made at the turnstile on the day of the fixture.
The voucher and the membership card must be presented at the turnstiles with the £5.00 cash payment prior to kick-off to gain entry to the ground. To avoid congestion at the turnstiles supporters bearing a voucher MUST arrive before 3.30pm in order to gain entry to the stadium.
Only Club FFC members will be permitted to buy these tickets and no upgrades will be possible. Entry will be refused any supporter if the valid membership card is not produced along with its corresponding voucher and no credit card payments will be accepted on the turnstiles.
The Club regrets that Season Ticket Holders who are also Club FFC members will be unable to purchase additional tickets for this fixture.
Tickets will go on sale from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 28 February 2002.
