Next time

Fulham's Rufus Brevett admitted his side are grateful to be getting a second chance to put Cup giant killers Wycombe to the sword next Tuesday at Craven Cottage.

Talking after Tuesday's game at Adams Park the Whites defender said:

"It was always going to be a tough night for us. They had nothing to lose and we are a big scalp. We paid them respect and their Cup run last year proves that they have what it takes to beat bigger Club's.

"The second goal was a bit sloppy from a defensive point of view but he took it well when the chance came.

"Steve Marlet did well to get us level because he had to get so high to reach the ball. Thankfully he did and now we have another chance in front of our own fans at the Cottage."

Brevett finished with a warning to Wanderers by adding:

"Next time there shouldn't be any mistakes and I think being at home will make a big difference."
