Mo's Message

Thursday 17 January 2002

Today's judgement is a significant milestone in the judicial process to grant the Club planning permission and I am naturally delighted.

The case put forward by those who continue to oppose our plans, has once again been shown to have no substance.

An enormous amount of time has been spent to ensure the development will be of the highest standards and will be a landmark building in harmony with the local environment.

Throughout this process we have given a priority to the needs and concerns of local residents and the proposals include many benefits to this community.

It is my vision that Fulham Football Club should continue to maintain its family values and I believe that the new stadium will epitomise this philosophy.

I have always been determined that the club should remain on the same site in Fulham and continue to entertain local people at the heart of the community where it has been for more than 120 years.
