Louis Saha must wait until Friday before beginning full training after breaking his nose, which makes him doubtful for Saturday's FA Cup clash.
Saha was back running at the Motspur Park training ground yesterday but was unable to get involved in any full-contact work.
However, doctors who helped rebuild his nose after it was broken in two places against Wycombe now say he can step up his training.
That is good news for Fulham, but it is still likely that Saha will not quite be fully recovered in time to face York on Saturday. His comeback is most likely to be at Ipswich next Wednesday.
