Junichi Inamoto is expected to make his Fulham debut at Loftus Road on Wednesday as they close in on a place in the Intertoto Cup Final.
Fulham will know what to expect when they take on Sochaux in the semi-final after playing the French side in a friendly last November.
Although manager Jean Tigana's understrength team lost 2-0 then, he will take confidence from Saturday's 1-1 draw in Athens against Egaleo which saw them go through 2-1 on aggregate.
As well as Inamoto, Tigana may also give a debut to defender Martin Djetou on Wednesday - who was signed on a 12-month loan from Parma last week.
But Rufus Brevett is still troubled by a groin injury and Lee Clark is doubtful with a longstanding Achilles injury.
Despite those injury worries, Fulham are now within sight of earning a place in the UEFA Cup from the European governing body's summer tournament.
