New Fulham C.E.O. Bruce Langham has promised fans more signings before the new Premiership season.

The Whites have been linked with a number of players over the summer, and have already added two to the squad so far in Argentinian duo Martin Herrera and Facundo Sava.

Langham has backed Jean Tigana and Franco Baresi to bring in more personel to west London in the next few weeks.

Speaking exclusively with Fulham Today he said:

"In the Premier League you have to have a strong squad. We've already made two early signings and, although I am not going to comment on individual players, I can say that we are working very hard to strengthen the squad even further before the new season starts."

The Cottagers finished up in 13th spot in the Premiership last season, but as Mohamed Al Fayed again prepares to get out his chequebook, the club have lofty ambitions for next term.

"Last year's achievement was excellent and should not be forgotten. But that is now a base
from which we can build on and I think qualifying for Europe next season should be an ambition and a goal for us," added Langham.

"We thank our fans who have been magnificent and we've have come through five exciting years at Fulham. I can promise them five more exciting years."
