As an extension to the 'End of an Era' programme, Fulham fans have the chance to grace Craven Cottage's hallowed turf by bidding to play on Monday 29 April 2002 at 7.30pm.
Football Aid, the national football charity which lets fans play a match at their favourite grounds, has signed up Fulham, together with the vast majority of senior clubs in the top divisions throughout England and Scotland. A percentage of the money raised will also go to Fulham Football Club's charity, 'The Variety Club'
Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive of the F.A. Premier League said: "We are extremely pleased that so many of our clubs have pledged their support to such a worthwhile and enjoyable initiative. This is an excellent way for football to show its appreciation of the fans and to raise considerable sums for a variety of charitable causes."
Fans can bid for a place in the Football Match until 29 March 2002 at www.footballaid.com
