Appeal upheld

Wednesday 15 May 2002

An Independent Appeal Commission today decided to allow Fulham Football Club's appeal against a fine imposed by The Football Association.

A charge of mass confrontation and a fine of £30,000 was handed down by The F.A. for an incident that occurred during the Fulham V Everton fixture on Saturday 8 December 2001, which was today overturned.

Fulham Football Club has an exemplary disciplinary record which forms a key part of the philosophy of both the Manager and the Club's Chairman, therefore the Club is extremely pleased with today's decision.
