Saha missing

Friday 27 September 2002

Louis Saha is set to miss Fulham's Premiership clash at Everton - and could be missing for another three weeks.

The French striker, who sustained a hamstring injury in the early stages of the 3-2 comeback victory against Tottenham on September 11, could be sidelined for another fortnight.

And as the Cottagers have a blank weekend on October 12 and 13 due to international action, he is not expected back until the home clash with Manchester United on October 19.

Central defender Martin Djetou, who signed on a year-long loan from Parma in July but almost immediately needed a knee cartilage operation, is due back in full training next week.

The 27-year-old has been doing ball work on his own this week.

Steve Finnan's comeback from a knee injury, shelved at the last minute before Monday's 0-0 draw with West London rivals Chelsea, could take place at Goodison Park.

Provisional squad: Van der Sar, Finnan, Ouaddou, Brevett, Knight, Goma, Collins, Davis, Inamoto, Malbranque, Legwinski, Marlet, Sava, Taylor, Boa Morte, Hayles.
